iOS 500 years old?

Vnderweysung der Messung : mit dem Zirkel vn[d] Richtscheyt in Linien, Ebnen vnnd gantzen Corporen

Apple’s iOS may be undergoing the biggest change since its inception, but that doesn’t mean the spirit of the operating system hasn’t been floating around designer’s heads for hundreds of years. In 1525, before the iPhone was even a twinkle in Steve Jobs’ eye, German polymath Albrecht Dürer was espousing similar design principles using the same, now-infamous letters: I, O, and S.

Hosting Provider Analysis

Hosting provider analysis for hosting re-sellers or web enthusiasts

Saturday, March 23, 2013 – 8:16 PM

Here is my breakdown of our options. There are a bunch of factors that have made me choose who my current host is but the most important are Dependability, speed for the customer, support, and my ability to quickly replicate and create new sites.

Options like godaddy.com are terrible before because they don’t use the industry standard CPanel which causes delays because of non-industry standard in permission giving so its harder for me to share ftps with staff, that they want to charge you for everything including backups which traditional can be done very easy and they are so large that there provisioning time is insane 48 hours to do anything.

The other big host is hostgator which has cpanel but they don’t have a built in domain management system so this means purchasing and linking domains takes time to provision.

So this is why I have went to the route of bluehost they have cpanel, a domain management system built in so I can quickly provision sites and they have a great support where I can call 24 hours a day and get my stuff resolved.

If we are going to offer hosting we should select one rate for websites and then website plus Ecommerce (has SSL and dedicated IP).

$180 – $400 for a website per year is what we said I think that’s a profitable amount that’s worth it.

What customers get with our hosting

Do it themselves cpanel

Call or email to request new email accounts for their employees

More than just traditional support if there website gets malware or goes down we will take care of it

If its not on our hosting we charge because its not our problem

Why this benefits us

We get the opportunity to keep in contact with our clients forever this on multiple occasions has secured financial opportunities for me and is worth it no matter the rate we charge for hosting.

Ok guys I have really spent my time on this and this is my report after calling each of the providers and really analyzing what’s best for the future of our company. My recommendation is that we buy a new reseller package on Bluehost this way it will have full capacity and wont be slowed by any of my current clients. Also then we can enable Cloud flare platinum on gutsanddigital.com which will make all of our test environments cache faster and be in the cloud.

The total starting cost will be $39.50 per month ($25 p/m hosting $14.95 cloudflare

As stated below bluehost is the optimum path for us and in august 2013 will have railgun like mediatemple currently has. If we do grow further I suggest rackspace cloud servers for their extreme services.

Linking multiple maps on your website

You learn something new daily series
If your me you link maps to websites all the time. One of the obstacles to over come is making the marker and address fit in the map iframe so you can read it. So without delay

<!–iframe width=”380″ height=”400″  style=”float:right; margin-top:-450px;” frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” marginheight=”0″ marginwidth=”0″ src=”http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=250+Catalonia+Suite+300+Coral+Gables,+FL+33134&sll=36.0325,-95.677068&sspn=48.10347,85.076125&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=250+Catalonia+Ave+%23300,+Coral+Gables,+Miami-Dade,+Florida+33134&t=m&z=14&ll=25.752999,-80.259659&output=embed“></iframe!–>
Here is the linking code you would insert the last KML codes as seen here – 25.752999,-80.259659 are the geo location tags. you can incrementally change these to produce you marker to be in the location you need to place your map correctly.
